| After years working as a graphic designer and paper maker in the U.S. and in Finland, Connie Heik realised her dream of painting when she moved to Belgium. Now, she is living in Finland continuing her work on capturing nature on canvas. She graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. and RHoK Academy in Etterbeek, Belgium. She has exhibited in the USA, Belgium, Sweden and Germany. She has been fascinated by colour interactions. Her use of strong shapes and colours evokes a sense of spaciousness. Connie prefers to use acrylics and mixed media. She also is a photo journalist. |
