Sussi Anna Åberg exhibition.

Column by Elise Gegauff

I actually learned about this exhibition from the kindergarden I work in. We got a commercial about this exhibition in the mail, and I thought that this was perfect to write about!

«A storybook journey, where Mother Earth Galeja and her scene is in the center. With motives of strong brush strokes, she observes life, the world and the surrounding earth from a new perspective. Each and one of us finds our own road to Galeja's world.»

Sussi Anna Åberg has been a painter for 30 years. She's always lived a very personal life as an artist. For many years she was best known for her highly detailed pen drawings of trolls and faeries as a typical theme. Now, for about a year Sussi Anna Åberg has been working on one theme that she calls «Moder Earth». She observes the world through colourful motifs, with her storybook, animals and plants that gives the viewer interesting angles on Mother Earth. The paintings are interesting for both adults and children.

From the photo's of the paintings for this exhibition, I can only say that I will go and have a look at it for sure! Mystical beings and colours drags me into a world of wonder and fantasy.
To a place I could like to be.
