Raili Hillberg exhibition at Art Alex

Hello everybody!

I hope you all have had a great and creative summer! This upcoming autumn and winter will be full of interesting HIAA things, I especially look forward to our exhibition that's coming up.

In the hope that winter won't come too quickly, I chose to write about an exhibition with beautiful naturalistic nature paintings.
I was strolling along the Esplanade one day, and I saw a gallery that I hadn't noticed before. In fact the art on display in the window of the gallery made me notice it.
It had dark scenic oil paintings of the Finnish landscape and it immediately drew me into a story. When I went in to the gallery, I learned the artist's name was Raili Hillberg.
(I tried, but sadly I could not find any information about this artist anywhere.)
In the back of the museum, there's a door that goes downstairs, where the exhibition continues.

For all of you who, like me, love naturalistic art, this is an exhibition to visit! But you have to hurry; it's only until the 27th of August.
The address is Aleksanterinkatu 7, 00100 Helsinki.
You can call them at: (09) 6225522 and the opening times are:
Monday – Friday: 10 – 18
Saturday: 10 – 16

While you're there, make sure that you grab a copy of a little magazine that's called “Gallery Lehti”! It has information about galleries and exhibitions. The information is valid over a duration of three months.

Enjoy!
